Strategi Musyrifah dalam Membentuk Karakter dan Meningkatkan Ibadah Santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Alhamidiyah Sionggotan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the role of musyrifah in shaping the character and improving the quality of student worship in the pesantren environment. Musyrifah not only serves as a dormitory supervisor, but also acts as a guide, role model, motivator, and companion in the daily life of students. This research aims to describe the musyrifah strategy in shaping the character and improving the worship of the students and analyze the role of musyrifah in the coaching process at the Al-Hamidiyah Sionggotan Islamic Boarding School. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with data sources that included musyrifah, students, pesantren leaders, and ustazah. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification, while the validity of the data was tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the musyrifah strategy in forming character and improving the worship of the students includes example, habituation, supervision, giving advice and spiritual motivation, a personal approach, and the application of educational reprimands and sanctions. The strategy is applied in various worship activities, both mandatory and sunnah, such as congregational prayers, duha prayers, tahajud, and recitation of the Qur'an. In addition, musyrifah plays the role of role models, worship guides, discipline supervisors, character coaches, spiritual motivators, personal companions, and enforcers of educational rules. This role has been proven to contribute to the formation of religious character, honesty, responsibility, discipline, and social concern of students.
