Studi Komparatif ‘Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Dan Khadijiyyah Idrisiyyah

Abstract

Women play a strategic role in community development through da'wah activities and family education. Islamic women's organizations in Indonesia have developed with various characteristics and approaches according to their respective ideological backgrounds and movements. This study aims to analyze and compare Islamic women's movements in the fields of da'wah and parenting in the organizations 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah and Khadijiyyah Idrisiyyah. The study used a qualitative approach with a comparative study method. Data were obtained through interviews with the heads of the organizations, da'wah administrators, parenting administrators, activity participants, and parents of parenting participants. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that both organizations have a significant role in the development of da'wah and family development. Khadijiyyah Idrisiyyah develops Sufism-based da'wah through the concepts of tazkiyatun nafs, ibda' binafsik, and prophetic parenting oriented towards fostering the heart. Meanwhile, Muhammadiyah's 'Aisyiyah develops progressive da'wah through women's empowerment, inclusive education, and the use of digital media and professional mentoring in parenting programs. Despite their different approaches, both organizations share the same goal: to develop Muslim women with noble character, harmonious families, and a religious and empowered society. This research demonstrates that integrating Islamic values, Sufism, and modernity can be an effective strategy for strengthening da'wah and parenting in the contemporary era.
