This study aims to examine the reconstruction of the Tuha Indrapurwa Mosque in Lam Badeuk Village, Peukan Bada District, Aceh Besar Regency. The Tuha Indrapurwa Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Aceh, possessing significant historical, cultural, and architectural value as a representation of the cultural acculturation process during the spread of Islam in the region. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a historical approach. Data were gathered through observation, interviews with community leaders and mosque administrators, and documentation. The findings indicate that the post-2004 tsunami reconstruction of the Tuha Indrapurwa Mosque was carried out with the support of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), resulting in changes to certain building materials and structural elements. Nevertheless, key architectural features such as the tiered roof structure, the *mimbar* (pulpit), spatial orientation, and other symbolic elements were preserved as integral parts of the local community's historical and spiritual identity. An analysis of these architectural elements reveals a blend of Islamic values and local culture that remains intact to this day. Consequently, the reconstruction of the Tuha Indrapurwa Mosque serves not only as a physical restoration effort but also as a means of preserving the cultural heritage and identity of the Acehnese people.
