The North Coast of Java is a strategic coastal area with high concentrations of population, ports, industrial zones, energy facilities, transportation networks, and maritime activities. The region faces various coastal threats, including tidal flooding, abrasion, land subsidence, and sea-level rise, which may disrupt community activities and the continuity of strategic infrastructure. The Giant Sea Wall (GSW) has potential not only as coastal protection infrastructure but also as strategic infrastructure supporting maritime defense and security. This study aims to analyze the integration strategy of GSW in strengthening maritime defense and security along the North Coast of Java. This research employed a qualitative approach involving 15 informants from government institutions, defense and security agencies, infrastructure management, academia, and coastal communities. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña data analysis model. The findings indicate that GSW has the potential to protect strategic areas, support coastal surveillance, maintain maritime activity security, and strengthen infrastructure resilience. GSW integration requires interagency coordination, surveillance technology, ecosystem protection, and meaningful community participation. GSW can be developed as multifunctional infrastructure integrating coastal protection, territorial resilience, defense, and maritime security.
