Abstract

This community service initiative seeks to strengthen the capacity of students at MTs Daarut Tauhid, located in Bumi Agung Village, Tegineneng District, Pesawaran Regency, through educational activities and hands-on beekeeping practice designed to foster environmentally sustainable entrepreneurship. The partner school faces several significant challenges: entrepreneurship instruction remains predominantly theoretical, students demonstrate limited comprehension of eco-friendly business principles, and the surrounding natural environment has not been optimally utilized as a pedagogical resource. To address these issues, the program adopts a participatory action research (PAR) framework, executed across five sequential phases: preparatory coordination, interactive socialization and education, direct beekeeping practice, ongoing entrepreneurship mentoring, and systematic monitoring with reflective evaluation. The intervention has yielded measurable improvements in students' conceptual understanding of green entrepreneurship, practical competence in apiary management, and observable growth in both ecological consciousness and entrepreneurial motivation. Beyond these immediate outcomes, the program has successfully developed a contextualized and replicable learning model that integrates environmental stewardship with business education, offering a sustainable framework that can be adapted and implemented by other educational institutions facing comparable circumstances in the Pesawaran region and beyond.
