Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in women worldwide, including in Indonesia. Women's low knowledge and awareness regarding early detection means that most cases are still discovered at an advanced stage. One easy, affordable, and independently performed early detection method is Breast Self-Examination (BSE). This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to increase participants' knowledge, understanding, and awareness regarding the importance of early breast cancer detection through BSE education. The activity was carried out in the form of an educational seminar at the ARTA Kabanjahe College of Health Sciences Hall on June 12, 2026, targeting private university students in North Sumatra. The methods used included material delivery, interactive discussions, and questions and answers. Evaluation was carried out using a pretest and posttest approach to assess changes in participants' knowledge and understanding. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge in the good category from 24% before education to 82% after education, while understanding in the good category increased from 28% to 86%. In addition, participants showed high enthusiasm during the activity and were motivated to implement BSE regularly as an effort to detect breast cancer early. SADARI education has proven effective in improving participants' health literacy and is expected to encourage the formation of early detection behavior and become a means of disseminating health information to the public.
