Edukasi dan Pendampingan Pembuatan Eco-enzyme untuk Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga

The issue of waste remains a serious environmental problem in society. Household waste constitutes the largest portion of waste composition in Semarang City in 2024, reaching 72%. Organic waste, including food waste, vegetable waste, and other biodegradable materials, accounts for more than 60% of total household waste. This community service activity focuses on training the production of eco-enzyme multipurpose liquid as an effort to reduce organic waste while enhancing household economic empowerment in Cepoko Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang City. The program aims to increase community awareness and skills in processing household organic waste into valuable products. The community service activities began with providing participants with materials and explanations on the process of making eco-enzyme using vegetable and fruit waste. Following the theoretical session, participants, primarily housewives in Cepoko Village, were directly involved in practical training sessions facilitated in collaboration with the Semarang City Environmental Agency. Through this hands-on approach, participants gained practical experience in producing eco-enzyme multipurpose liquid, which is expected to support environmental sustainability while also offering potential economic benefits for household income improvement and community empowerment in daily life.
